Just Add Birds…..

I am currently trying out the seed mixes for the new bird food company JustAddBirds and really enjoying the process!  It’s fascinating to see the birds encountering new foods that they may not have seen before (well not here anyway) and deciding whether they like them or not.  Case in point has been our Berry Pellets and Insect Pellets, both components of the SuperPure No Mess Mix.  The pellets fly (literally) out of the feeders!  All the tit species love them plus long-tailed tits too which are around in a flock of about twelve here just now.  It has also given me an opportunity to watch the birds more closely – that coal tit we have is actually four coal tits – I have seen them all at the same time – and the marsh tit is certainly two individuals.  Interesting!!
